One of our favorite things to do when we travel internationally is to take a cooking class. When I think of Spain, I think of paella and sangria and that's exactly the direction we took. I love taking these classes as first, it is something that I can physically do and secondly, you definitely meet many people from all over the world. This was no exception and now we are master paella grillers.
Immerse yourself in the culture
Whenever Eric and I travel, we make sure there is at least one day to explore the city. In Barcelona through our explorations, we found the city to be exceptionally safe and clean. It was super, super easy to get around with a mobility device and walk if you just need a slower pace. Through wandering, any city, one will find Artesian markets, unique souvenirs, moments to practice a different language, and the most amazing foods. These are all the things that we found in the beautiful city of Barcelona. Someday, we will return!
