Mexico

Mexico was the first cruise we ever took. We went there with our teenage children and had an amazing time with Carnival. The ship itself was completely accessible from the room, to the bathroom, to the dining area. We ended up going horseback riding along the beach at one of the stops. The staff at the horse rental establishment were highly knowledgeable with working with physically challenged individuals. They made sure I had a guide which held a lead so the horse would not take off. The guy stayed with me the entire time which made me feel very comfortable. Excellent option for elderly and small children as well. While the boys went ziplining in Puerto Vallarta, my daughter and I went kayaking at a private beach. Again, this was a great activity for somebody with limited mobility and arm strength as we did a tandem kayak. When my arms were getting tired, she was able to row the kayak making it a beautiful experience for both of us.
